Fadzie Kativhu is a qualified children’s social worker and the co-founder of The Empowerment Brunch. She holds a BA in Education, Culture & Childhood and a Master’s in Social Work.
While working full-time as a social worker, Fadzie built The Empowerment Brunch from the ground up—a testament to her determination and passion for creating a space where women can thrive, even while balancing the demands of a 9-to-5 career.
Fadzie’s journey has been anything but linear. Like many, she graduated unsure of her next steps. At the age of 28, after facing burnout, she took a career break to reflect and redefine her path. This pivotal moment taught her the importance of slowing down, rejecting societal pressures, and embracing the idea that it’s never too late to pivot towards a more fulfilling life.
Inspired by her own experiences, Fadzie co-created The Empowerment Brunch as the platform she wished existed in her early 20s—a community where women can uncover their ‘why,’ build confidence, and gain the tools to turn their ambitions into reality. Through her work, she hopes every attendee leaves feeling empowered to take control of their journey and pursue their dreams with clarity and purpose.
